1966 GT 350 Mustang
Click to picture to focus and enlarge
This 1966 Mustang started out as a worn out six cylinder. The factory front
tower suspension was replaced with a Heidt Mustang II type rack and pinion
steering. This gave plenty of room for the 460 ci Ford Cobra engine.
The floor pans and rear frame rails have been replaced. The rear leaf
springs were also replaced and beefed up with traction bars. The old
differential has been replaced with a traction lock Currie 9 inch rear end.
The 460 engine has been completely rebuilt, including Lunati cam, Edelbrok
carburetor and intake manifold, Simpson block hugger headers, MSD ignition,
March engine pulleys and much more.

Finishing touches to be added
Some cars are just meant to be hot rods.
